Teaching Assistant (TA3)

We require a TA3 to start in September 2026.  The successful applicant will work as part of our Learning Support team to meet the needs of pupils including those with Special Education Needs and Disabilities and those who have fallen behind age-related expectations.

This is a permanent post, 35 hours per week, term time only.  The actual salary (for 35 hours per week) will be in the range £22,509 – £25,644 (FTE £28,142 – £32,061)

Teaching and Learning Communication Support Worker

Start date: September 2026

NJC Grade 7 £23,812 – £27,008 (FTE Annual Salary £32,061 – £36,363)

We require a Teaching and Learning Support Worker to. provide dedicated 1:1 for a secondary aged pupil with a strong Deaf identity by supporting communication and learning using British Sign Language (BSL) throughout the day. The role is to create a rich language environment with full access to the curriculum, promoting independence and ensuring additional needs including Sensory Processing differences and possible Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD/internalised PDA) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) aren’t barriers to achievement.

The contract of employment for the successful candidate will be fixed term in nature and linked specifically to a pupil within school. In the event the pupil leaves school, the contract of employment would automatically come to an end with a 4 week notice period.

Cover Supervisor

Start date: September 2026

NJC Grade 6 £20,901 – £23,812   (FTE Annual Salary £28,142 – £32,061)

We require a Cover Supervisor to supervise, support and assist students of the complete age and ability range in the school in the absence of the usual teacher. The position is 32.5 hrs per week, term time only.
