John Crewdson Library

Overview

The John Crewdson Library is a new, state of the art, addition to the Ripley VI Form which provides students with access to academic resources, learning spaces and facilities to complement and enhance their learning. It is open before and after school and is a natural environment for independent study, research, group work and reading for pleasure.

Guidance is available on how to: undertake research, cite, reference, and how to avoid plagiarism; essential study skills for coursework, Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and in preparation for university.

Interaction is essential for group work and social learning. Therefore, the JCL is not a silent zone.
Students are accountable for their own borrowing and the latest in RFID technology, a 3M self-check out kiosk, is available for the issue and discharge of books.

In addition to the resources and facilities available, if advice or assistance is required, the librarian is always available to help.
