UCAS Discovery UK Tour 2025
On Wednesday 5 March, three coachloads of Ripley Year 12 students left school to attend the UCAS Discovery UK Tour at Manchester Central Convention Centre.
Our students were a total pleasure to accompany as they sought information from 129 visiting universities and 14 apprenticeship employers attending the event.
With stands on student life, subject spotlights, information and advice and the Big QA zones, they gained as much as they could from the university ambassadors available
to help. There were lots of freebies to take away too, as evidenced by the number of bucket hats leaving the conference and Charlie even won himself a pair of headphones worth £140!
It was noted how smart our students looked and how polite and respectful they were when discussing options at university stands. We are sure this was a great help in their forthcoming university applications and career choices.
