Physics in Action in Manchester for Year 12 and 13
Year 12 and 13 Physics students from Ripley St Thomas attended A level Physics in Action on the 21st of November at Manchester Kings House Conference Centre.
This exciting and thought provoking day consisted of a series of engaging and inspiring sessions designed to complement the KS5 curriculum, taking students from classroom physics to cutting-edge research, and real world applications. A special session on examination success was delivered by YouTube content creator Lewis Matheson (YouTube channel Physics online) who gave our students hints and tips to excel.
The students found this day to be extremely interesting and motivating judging by the feedback below and we look forward to planning similar future events to ensure we nurture the individual aspirations of all students who study Science at Ripley.
