Monday 2 July saw the final of the year 9 Master Chef competition.  

The overall winner for the main course was Ella Lord who made Mini Quiches, served with sauces in a bread basket for her theme of Little Red Riding Hood.


The overall winner for dessert was Jack MacArthur who made Blackberry and White Chocolate Pot for his theme of the British Countryside.


Runners up were Kathryn Ellison who made Chicken Curry for her theme The Greatest Showman and Abby Parker-Richardson who made Coffee Custard, Chocolate Mousse and Caramel Glasses for her theme of The Oscar Awards.

                  


Highly Commended were Harry Morrell who made Fish and Chips for his theme of The Seaside, Ewan Quainton who made Olympic Japanese Sushi for for his theme of The Tokyo Olympics 2020, Adam Duce who made Herdwick Lamb Shepherd's Pie for his theme of The Lake District and Joseph Salthouse who made Strawberry and Nut Crumble for his theme of The Forest of Bowland.

            

         


Congratulations to them all - the staff judges had a wonderful time sampling all the dishes.
