Year 7 find themselves ‘in the shadow of the Wolf Queen’

Kiran’s book, The Girl of Ink and Stars previously won the Waterstones Children’s Prize, the British Book Awards Children’s Book of the Year and the Financial Times Book of the Year.

Year 7 became completely absorbed  during the talk and  asked some very  intriguing questions of Kiran during the Q and A session. They were able to meet the author and have an ordered book personally signed by Kiran after the event.  Judging by the number of books  on order,  it’s safe to say that this was a very successful event.
