Ripley Carol Service
On the evening of Tuesday 19th December, the Chapel Choir prepared for what is one of the most memorable nights of the school calendar.
It was a wonderful service of 9 Lessons and Carols. The Chapel looked beautifully atmospheric as a packed congregation joined in the singing and were thrilled by the incredible voices of the Choir.
We were also very honoured that many Ripley alumni (including 4 former Department Scholars) made special journeys to help. Thanks also to The Rt Revd Dr Jill Duff and The Revd Leah Vasey-Saunders for leading and Oliver Tarney for playing.
“The most perfect moment of the year for me. It is absolutely magical. Don has a choir to be proud of – incredible voices augmented with some ‘old’ familiar faces. Happy Christmas everyone.”

“The Chapel Choir and alumni excelled themselves, performing music by Oliver Tarney, Sarah Quartel, John Rutter, William Mathias and David Willcocks with great care skill and dedication. Bravo!”
