Ripley Awards Evening 2025

On the 25th September, we were delighted to welcome parents, carers, pupils, and staff to the Ripley Awards Evening 2025 as we came together to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our school community.

We were honoured to be joined by Bishop Philip North, who presented the awards and offered words of encouragement to our young people. Our sincere thanks also go to Revd Tim Evans for his warm hospitality at the Priory, which provided a beautiful and fitting setting for the event.

This annual celebration is a cherished highlight of the Ripley calendar. It offers a valuable opportunity to reflect on the progress, determination and talents of our pupils, both within the curriculum and in all aspects of school life.

At Ripley St Thomas, our vision is to create an environment where every pupil can flourish academically, spiritually and personally, allowing them to live life in all its fullness. Our pupils continue to embrace a rich and varied range of opportunities. From sport, music and drama to clubs, cadets, school trips and the Duke of Edinburgh Award, they are developing their character, discovering their gifts, building confidence and becoming the leaders of the future.

Acting Headteacher, Mrs Best, Said  – ‘It was a delight to celebrate our staff, pupils, and school at the annual Awards’ Evening last  night. It was so lovely to reflect on the past year and everything that we, and our pupils, have accomplished for a variety of reasons including academic achievement, endeavour,  progress, leadership, and much more. We were particularly privileged that Bishop Phillip, Bishop of Blackburn, was present to celebrate our school with us.’

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this uplifting and memorable evening. We are incredibly proud of all our young people and all they have achieved.
