RAFAC North Region Vex Robotics Championships

On the 19th of August 2025, Ripley St Thomas were extremely excited to attended the National Air and Space Camp to take part in the first RAFAC North Region Vex Robotics Championships. This year’s games were very competitive and an amazing opportunity for our cadets!

The championships signified the end of the first year on this new venture. The last year has been spent, planning, building, programming, test driving and competing across other venues to reach this final stage, and the preparation clearly paid off.

Ripley are very proud to have reached the finals and leave in joint  2nd out of 11 teams.

Ripley also had the pleasure of talking to RAFAC Air Commodore Al Lewis who was enjoying his day chatting with cadets and understanding how VEX worked and the planning that had gone into the event.
