Year 7 Curriculum Information Evening

We would like to invite Year 7 Parents and Carers to a Curriculum Information Evening to help you to support as they start their journey here at Ripley. This will take place on Thursday 9th October. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to park on site for this event.

Your child’s Progress Tutor will be available between 5:30pm and 6pm – this will be an opportunity for you to meet your child’s Progress Tutor. On arrival, please head towards the Chapel, where a member of staff will direct you to the correct location of your child’s Progress Tutor. There will not be an opportunity for extensive one-to-one conversations on this occasion, but more of a chance to put a face to a name. If you wish to have a more specific conversation about your child, please get in touch in the usual way via Parentline and a meeting can be arranged.

At 6pm you will be directed to the Chapel where there will be a presentation covering year 7 curriculum arrangements, key reminders, and calendar dates.

Due to capacity can we kindly request that only one parent attends per pupil and that no pupils attend. 

We appreciate that parents may be coming straight to school from work, or other commitments, therefore there will be tea, coffee and biscuits available in the school dining room from 5pm.

In addition, Mr Bithell, SENCo, and members of the Learning Support team will be available if you would appreciate a short conversation with them from 5pm.
