Y11 Parents’ Evening 2
I would like to invite you to attend the second of our Y11 Parents' Evenings for this academic year which is being held IN SCHOOL FACE TO FACE on Thursday 23rd March 2023 between 17:00 and 20:00
This parents’ evening will be held in school, on a face to face basis. For Fire safety reasons, on arrival at school please sign in alongside your child’s name on his/her Form list located on one of the tables outside the Chaplaincy Room.
Please be aware that there will be limited car parking available on the evening.
Bookings will be made using the “SchoolCloud Parents Evening” system but this is purely for the purposes of making bookings – no video appointments will be available.
On the evening there will be a number of copies of seating plans on display around school to help you locate where you need to go for your appointments, and there will be refreshments available to purchase from the Friends of Ripley. Please bring cash if you wish to purchase anything.
Mr Sim (Head of Sixth Form) and Mrs Abell (Deputy Head of Sixth Form) will be available on the evening to answer any queries you or your child may have regarding progression to the Sixth Form. No appointment is required. All Year 11 pupils who have applied to join the Sixth Form have already been offered a meeting with a sixth form tutor. If your child has not requested a meeting and would now like one, please email : sixthform@ripley.lancs.sch.uk and we will arrange a meeting which will take place during a school day.
The system allows you to choose your own appointment times with your child’s teachers. After booking all of your appointments you will receive an email confirming your appointments schedule. You will also receive a reminder email approximately one hour before your first appointment time on 23rd March 2023.
The window for booking appointments opens at 8pm on Friday 17th March 2023 and closes at 8pm on Tuesday 21st March 2023.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NO APPOINTMENTS WILL BE ABLE TO BE MADE AFTER 8pm ON TUESDAY 21st MARCH 2023.
