Enrol at Ripley Sixth Form

Sixth Form enrolment will take place in-person in the Sixth Form centre from on GCSE Results Day, Thursday 20th August. Pupils currently studying at Ripley can enrol From 8:00am. Those who do not already attend Ripley may come to enrol between 1.00pm and 2.30pm.

The Sixth Form team will check and review your results and subject choices in line with our Admissions Policy and entry requirements. You will find copies of these here.

If you are on holiday and unable to attend school in person, you can enrol online. Please let us know if this is the case before school closes for summer and we will send you instructions on how to enrol remotely. If, on results’ day, you need to discuss your enrolment or have just missed out on the entry requirements for your course, please contact us via sixthform@ripley.lancs.sch.uk or call 01524 64496 (ext 1070) and we can resolve the issue over the phone or via a Teams meeting at any time throughout the day.

You are also welcome to drop in and see us in the Sixth Form Centre between 1-2.30pm on Thursday, 21st August or between 9am – 12.00pm on Friday, 22nd August and complete the enrolment process on site. Members of the Sixth Form team will also be available on Tuesday, 27th August for late enrolment.

When you come to enrol in-person, you will be asked to login to the application portal to check your personal details and subject choices are correct and to upload a profile photograph that fits the following criteria:

A clear photograph of yourself (head and shoulders) on a plain background.

This photograph will be used for your Sixth Form ID badge, which must be worn at all times. You can save time by changing your profile photograph in advance of results’ day by logging in to the portal and clicking on the thumbnail profile picture at the top right-hand side of the homepage (Go to profile settings – edit – upload.)

Year 12 studies begin on Thursday 2nd September with a full induction day. Lessons will start fully on Friday 3rd September, so you should come with the correct equipment and the Bridging Units work in all your subjects.
