Cadets RAST Competition

At the beginning of the month, our cadets proudly represented the contingent at the annual Regional Air Squadron Trophy (RAST) competition, held at Inskip Cadet Centre. The event brought together CCFs from across the North Region to compete in a wide range of disciplines, including space, shooting, drill and turnout, cyber, first aid, and leadership.

In the months leading up to the competition, our cadets demonstrated exceptional commitment and determination. They dedicated countless hours to preparation – practising drill every day during breaktimes and attending weekly training sessions to refine their skills across all other categories.

Their hard work and discipline truly paid off. We are delighted to announce that the team achieved 1st place in the North Region, securing their place at the NAST competition in March. Cadets achieved 1st place in the Drill and Turnout category, 2nd in First Aid and Leadership, and 3rd in Cyber and Shooting, with our own Josefina earning the title of Top Shot in the competition.

A huge well done to every cadet involved. Your effort, teamwork, and professionalism are a credit to the contingent, and we look forward to supporting you as you progress to the national stage.
