#HelloYellow for Young Minds UK 2024

TODAY, to mark #WorldMentalHealthDay, we are doing our bit to make the world brighter by wearing something yellow and donating to YoungMinds

We want young people to know that they donโ€™t have to go through this alone. Things can get better. Because we stand brighter, together.

Our Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead, Laura Johnson said:

“It’s World Mental Health Day – ย a day to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters. Not just today but everyday. Ripley is full of sunshine colours and today highlights the incredible work we do with our partner agencies, to support young people and their families. You make a difference๐Ÿ’›”

Not only did we support Young Minds UK, we also ensured other wellbeing and mental health charities received our focus too.

The Star bakers in the staff team have all come together Trust-wide to raise funds through a Bake Sale today for Papyrus Suicide Prevention charity, a charity very close to our hearts.

Over in Sixth Form, the Student Leadership Team spearheaded a campaign for ACE. ACE is a charity in North Lancashire that delivers person centred solution focused, goal-based work, counselling, trauma therapy and Cognitive Behavioural therapy to support young people aged 10 -25 to improve their mental health and emotional wellbeing and build resilience.
