Awards Evening 2024
The annual Awards Evening for Ripley St Thomas was hosted at The Priory Church of St Mary, Lancaster, on Thursday 19 September 2024 at 7pm.
Parents, pupils, students and staff enjoyed the school community collecting their form prizes, best results and special awards, across years 8 to 13. We were honoured to be joined by special guest Mrs Amanda Parker JP, His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire, who presented the awards.
This is always a highlight of the Ripley calendar and a fantastic opportunity to focus on the progress and achievements of our young people, both within the curriculum and beyond. Thank you to Revd Leah Vasey-Saunders for being such a welcoming host at the Priory.
Our vision for all pupils is to provide an environment which allows them to flourish academically, spiritually, and personally, allowing them to ‘live life in all its fullness’. And so whilst academic success is important, and something that we will continue to strive for, Ripley St Thomas is much more than the results that a pupil achieves at the end of a key stage. Our young people continue to get involved in sports, music, clubs, cadets, trips, Duke of Edinburgh, and much more! This holistic education allows them to develop their character, discover their talents, become leaders of the future, and build confidence along the way.
Thank you to all who joined us on the evening and for being part of our celebration. We are very proud of our young people.
